CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
Regret that the Canterbury Rowing Association was unable to see its way to give financial support to the'bringing to New Zealand of an eight-oar crew from Now South Wales, was expressed in a motion passed by the association last evening. It was stated that a guarantee of £75 would be required from each association in whose centre the visiting crew rowed.
