ACCIDENTAL DEATH
CLIMBER’S FATAL FALL (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Tho opinion that all teampers should join properly constituted clubs in order to be trained in mountain and bush craft by experienced enthusiasts, was expressed by Mr. J. A. Baine, lion, forest ranger appointed by the Commissioner of State Forests, in giving his views as an expert at the inquest concerning the death of Patrick Alexander Devon, who lost his life as a result of a, fall on the Orougoronga hills on Sunday, October 22. Tho coroner, Mr. J. Gilbertson, returned a verdict of accidental death. He said there was no question that it was purely an accident. There was no evidence that the hoy was cureless in any way, or undertaking am undue risk.
