BURGLARY EPIDEMIC
TWO MEN CHARGED (Per Preßß Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. llocont burglaries in city and country stoves, involving goods valued at £:i00, arc alleged by the police to concern two men who appeared in the Magistrate’s Court this morning, and were charged with breaking and entering at Ashburton, on Octobor 3, •the shop of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association, and committing theft. The accused were remanded to appear on November 14, when, it was stated, further charges will be preferred. The two men wore Frederick Charles Price, 2!), a horse trainer, of Palmers road, and Nelson Raynor Bushell, 27, a slaughterman; of Page's road.
