The Auckland Education Board decided to restore tho last salary cut imposed on the office staff, namely, 10 per cent, for seniors and 5 per cent, for juniors. The chairman said the board had been influenced by the staff’s efficiency, by a comparison of tho salaries with thoso paid by smaller boards, and by the fact that reorganisation had iiy creased the work of tho staff, resulting in such a saving that the cut could be restored.
