SHIP BADLY DAMAGED £30,000 FOR REPAIRS (Received Sept. 28. noon.) MELBOURN E, Sept 28. The inter-state collier, William McArthur, grounded in Port Phillip Bay and slid over the rocky bottom. A (lock inspection revealed that the bottom was badly arched and holed from midships to stern. The repairs are likely to cost £30,000.
