VICTORIAN BUDGET
LITTLE TAX RELIEF ; • £700,000 DEFICIT (Received Sept.. 28, noon) MELBOURNE, Sept. 28. No .reduction in'general taxation, a reduction of 5 per cent, in the unemployment relief tax, and an anticipated deficit of £700.000 for 1933-34 are features of the Stale Budget which was introduced in the Assembly by the Treasurer, Sir Stanley Argyle.
