PATUTAHI BEAT WAERENGA-O-KTJEI (Herald Correspondent.) During the week-end a team representing the Waerenga-o-kuri Tennis Club journeyed to Patutahi, where an enjoyable tournament was played with a team from the local club, ltain which had threatened all the afternoon set in towards evening, and the last few mate lies had to he abandoned. Despite the adverse conditions, however, a pleasant time was spent, some, of the games being keenly contested. Out ot the 21 sets played, Patutahi won 13 and Waerenga-o-kuri B. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies of the home team. The following are the results, Wae-renga-o-kuri players being mentioned first. Ladies’ Doubles. —Miss L.
