BURIED TREASURE
AUSTRALIAN PARTY'S SEARCH LONDON, Nov. 6. The Paris correspondent of the News of, the World says A party, of Australians are now homeward hound afte: searching in the,St. Quentin region for supposed buried treasure, whose existence -yvas reported by the late Thomas ,Logan, who led an Australian expedition in search of the treasure, after demobilisation. Logan’s clues to fabulous wealth hidden, according to tradition, by the Spanish armies when France and Spain were at war, led to an easily traceable dugout, where searchers found only derelict tins of army biscuits and bully beef.
