CABIN DOOR FOUND
POSSIBLY FROM KOTITI (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. A cabin door believed to have belonged to tho 'Kotiti’s deck-house, was found about one chain from Kapiti Island on Sunday morning by Messrs. Ik W. Bainihger, of Pdlriierstoh North, and F. A. Saunders, of Parapgraunul. The door was brought to Wellington this afternooh by its finders. It will be taken to the Marine Department to-morrow mornirig to see if if can be identified. The door is about sft in height and 2ft in width, it is paihted White ori one side, and a fed square round the lock; and is rod, heavily splashed with white paint, on the other side. Both hinges have been torn from the door, which does riot appear tb have been in the water for many days. The door is. as hear as can be judged, tho size of those on the Kotiti’s deckhouse.
