BOY DROWNED
WANGANUI RIVER TRA&EDY - . i■ (Per Press Association.) Wanganui, last night. Percy William O’Hara, 14, was drowned in the Wringanui river ab.out 5.30 o’clock this evening. With two companions, the deceased was off shore i« a “ flattie; ” TIB) craft, commenced to fill and the trio became alarmed and got into the water. O’Hara could not swim and was drowned. Lawrence Smith, a companion, dived for him but was un,successful. The body had not been located to-night.
