Advice has been received that. Miss D. M. Beale, of Gisborne, lias secured passes in all subjects for her teachers C examination, held recently at the Christchurch Training College. Mr. Andrew Murray. Asso. M. Inst. C.E., • engineer to the Waitemata County Council, Auckland, is at present visiting his parents here with his wife and family. Mr. Murray, who is au ex-pupil of the Gisborne High School, Was at 08e time well known in football and cricket circles in Poverty Bay.
