BATHER DROWNED
(Per Press Association.) ROTORUA, this day. Rodger Beattie, 28, a medical attendant at Auckland Mental Hospital, was drowned while bathing in Lake Taupn yesterday. The fatality occurred at a point two miles out on ihe Tokaanu road.
