Always a. friend of poor musicians, and at present caring for six, (lie exchief of the Polish Government has given away practically his entire fortune. He is leaving his wife behind in Switzerland because “slip, will never be able to travel again and is suffering from an incurable disease.” While in America oil bis farewell appearance, Paderewski intends to give 70 concerts.
