TWO GIRLS MISSING
LAST SEEN ON MONDAY Two Palmerston North girls, Norma Jean Taylor and Agnes Marshall, both aged Id years, residing in Lyndhurst street and Burns avenue respectively, have been missing from I licit' homes since Monday evening, and so far the efforts made to trace them have been unsuccessful.
Two girls answering the description of the missing pair are believed to have purchased railway tickets on Monday evening, and to have travelled on the nort h-hound Limited express.
Norma Taylor was last seen by her parents when she said “Good night” to them at. about 9.30 on Monday evening. Later it was found that she had not gone to bed, hut had left the house, taking with her a. small quantity of clothing. Bhe is sft. 3in. in height, has fair hair, and when last seen was wearing a brown tweed dress and a brown felt hat.
The other girl, Agnes Marshall, had left her residence in Burns avenue (o go to a new position, but she did not go to her new employers. She took all her clothes, which she packed into two portmanteaux. She is sft. 6in. in height, has dark hair, and looks considerably older than her companion. The police are pun-suing inquiries.— Dominion.
