Wheat cargoes are steadier, and in sympathy with American and Argentina j advices advanced 6d to 9d. Apart from a small Italian demand, the market for Australians is inactive. Parcels firmed by 3d to 9d, but closed quieter owing to heavy realisations of Liverpool options. Futures: London, May, 36s 3d; July, 36s 7d.
