! PETROL TANK EXPLODES i FOUR OTHERS INJURED MELBOURNE, Dec. 17. j The explosion of a petrol tank at--1 t.'H'hcil to n house lighting system at . Poowong, near Korumburra, on Sunj'day evening', caused the death of a ! Womaii and the injury of four others. The house was quickly enveloped in fire, and it'was impossible ; to reach Mrs. McWhinney', who perished. Mr. Reynier had his hand severely hurt, and his son suffered severe burns on the ' hands and legs.
