TALKIES IN LONDON
THEATRES FOR CONVERSION LONDON, Dec. 20. Mr. Joseph Schenek, film producer, is on his Way to London trom New York to open negotiations which may lead to the conversion for talkies of His Majesty's, the Shaftesbury, the Adelphi, the 'Apollo, and the 'Gaiety theatres. These theatres now are controlled by Mr. Jake Shubert, American theatre magnate. _____
