FEDERAL ELECTION ECHO INVESTIGATION OF ROLLS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received November 14, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 14. It is stated that a close investigation of the rolls for Eden-Mofiaro scat at the recent Federal elections has revealed an amazing state of affairs, and an allegation of “roll stuffing” has been made. Further inquiries are being carried out. The contest in this electorate was one of the keenest in the- Commonwealth. On the first count Mr. Perkins, Nationalist, was leading. When it was discovered that some informal votes had been credited to him two check counts were made, and Mr. Cusack, Labor, was returned with a majority of 40.
