EX-KAISER’S LIFE
HEALTH MAINTAINED HIS EXILE AT DOORN LONDON, Nov. 12, By the world forgot, if not the world forgetting, the ex-Kaiser spent tho eleventh anniversary of his defeat at Zandvoort, in Holland, with a friend who is a member of the German nobility, and who visits him frequently. A Sun -representative visiting Doom ascertained that the ex-Kaiser is in excellent, health. He is an early riser and keeps fit- by gardening and sawing timber.
“His right hand is still very strong,” said a Doom councillor. “Though bearded and his face pale, he is in excellent physical condition. German visitors say he is lonely, but lie lias many callers.”
Wilhelm walks to the village with his wife, and acknowledges greetings by gravely sweeping off his hat. When livay from Doom he wears a military uniform. He travels in a motor-car, attendants following. His wife shops at Doom, and is most popular with the villagers. Asked if the ex-Kaiser likes the Dutch, hi s wife’s reply was, “We love only one person in Holland, our Queen.” Wilhelm’s suite refer to him as “Jlis Majesty the Kaiser.”
