REGISTRATION OF BLIND HORSE (Special to the Herald.) i CHRISTCHURCH, this day. At last night’s meeting of the hoard of the New Zealand Trotting Association a letter was received from Mr. F. .1. Smith, a recent arrival from England, and now training in Auckland, asking the board if it would register a blind mare if application was made. There was one racing in England at the present time, and he was negotiating for its purchase. Ho wished to make certain that in the event of tho mare being imported she would eligible to raee. It was decided to write stating that flic board did not approve of the importation of a blind horse for racing purposes.
