NAUTICAL INQUIRY (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A Nautical Inquiry is proceeding to-day in regard to the stranding of Richardson and Co, ’s steamer I’nrera on Walker Rock recently. The master, On plain Miles, gave evidence of running into a foglmnk suddenly. lie kept on his course and thought lie twice saw the Hash of the Jackson Head beacon. When an alteration was made in the course the vessel struck and remained on it he rock for four hours. Witness jdind passed the rock on an average ..'of twice a week for four years. (Proceeding),
