Taking advantage of the beautiful weather some 2000 excurtionists arrived in Napier on Wednesday by two special trains from Daimevirke, the excursion being the annual event arranged by the Daimevirke friendly societies. The Thirty Thousand Club, as usual, extended its hospitality in providing, free of charge, hot water, milk and buns.
