GOOD WORK IN FINAL CLASS Unfavorable weather conditions prevailed throughout the concluding class, I lie straight Inintaway, of the Poverty Bay sheep dog trials, held this afternoon. Anderson, of Ivanakanaia, who acted as judge throughout the trials, stated that the winner in the straight huntaway hunted on a- very good line to the. flag, made plenty of noise* and possessed fine style and good command. He was undoubtedly the outstanding- animal in tlu\ event. The second dog hunted on a- fair line, making plenty of noise. H'is style and command were good. The dog placed third hunted on a fair line to the top flag, where he made two rash turns. He made plenty of noise, while his style and command: were fair. . !

The fourth clog approached the flag on a, good line, and displayed good style, whiie bis command was fair. The work thvouglitout the final event, added the judge, was generally of a high standard, being a vast improvement on that displayed in the class last year.
