The Prime Minister, Mr. Coates, has sent the following message to Tom Heeney ; “New Zealand sends you our best, wishes, and we hope you will return home with the world’s boxing crown. Win or lose we know you will uphold the traditions of true sportsmanship. Kia ora.”
