.Mr. W. I). Lysnar, M-P.j left this afternoon for Wellington in order to resume his sessional duties.
Mr. A. W. Kirk, chairman of the Waiapu County Council, has proceeded to Wellington on county business. Mr. J. S. Barton;, S.M., has been appointed chairman of the Napier Harbor Board Commission, whkh will commence 1 its sittings on August 1. It is contemplated that the commission will sit for some weeks. A Magistrate will be sent from Wellington to Wanganui during the absence of Mr. Barton.
