TEST WITH AUSTRALIA (Sydney Sun Cables.) (Received January .18, 1 p.m.) LONDON', Jan. 17. The Post Office rigidly adheres to its determination not to disclose the results of the beam test with Australia, now covering 24 hours daily, until tho engineers have exhaustively completed a "full week of tests, which are under the sole control of the Post Office engineers. The Marconi Co. officials state they are confident of the outcome because the testers worked in liaison with their own engineers during the unofficial tests.
