FIFTEEN-MILE FRONT

N.S.W. BUSH FIRE ENORMOUS DAMAGE CAUSED (Elee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Asmu) (Received January 18. 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 18. Bush fires between Junee and Teinora swept 13,000 acres of country and destroyed many miles of fencing. A number of stud sheep were burned. The damage is estimated at £20,000. Aided by a high wind, which rendered the efforts of the fire-fighters futile, the tire swept everything on a face of 15 miles in its path until it burned itself out.

A fire at Wyalong also caused enormous damage.
