BOY DISAPPEARS
MANY PEOPLE HELP IN SEARCH
(Special to the Herald.) U'CKLAND, this day. A five-vear-bld boy, Maurice Corneille, the son of Mr, August Cornell e of Port Waikato. disappeared from ie lAe, Raglan, on ■ Saturday, but was afterwards found by a search party. lhe boy was missed from the farm on which he* was spending a holiday with his parents, and 'search parties were organised. ~ Some 60 people took part m the search throughout the day and at nightfall no trace of the missing child had been found. At daybreak the search was resumed, and about 200 people made preparations to assist. Shortly after daybreak, however, the boy's father found! the lad in a deserted dwelling at Te Mata, four miles from the house in which lie had been staying.
