LUXURIANT GROWTH

The luxuriant growth is a feature of all the crops, and feed is abundant. The heavier lands are carrying a wealth of clover and grasses, and the cattle, which wintered well, are ip tlie best of condition.' ‘the’ unchecked' growth of feed oats and grass on the lighter soils has put sheep and lambs in splendid fottle. Grass seed sljiit off for harvesting or stripping is coining- to a good brown head. The oat crop is not showing too much straw,' and. is in most eases well out in ear, and will be ready for the reaper and binder about Christmas time..
