COLLIDED WITH TRAIN
ELDERLY MAN’S DEATH (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON! N., this day. At the inquest this morning concerning the dealli of Sebastian Hulena. 74. who was found injured on llie railway line on Snltirday, dying subsequently m hospital, llie medical superintendent Inter said the deceased’s injuries were einsislcnl with having been struck by a train.' Mr. O’Shea, for liio Railway Department, said he could not understand the driver and fireman of the train which had passed not seeing the deceased. His own view was that deceased was not struck by a train, but had walked into it. The Coroner’s verdict- was that the deceased died from severe internal injuries caused by accidentally colliding with a train at: a crossing.
