CONFERENCE OF BOARDS. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Important, matters will he discussed at the annual conference of the Electric Power Boards’ Association of New Zealand next week. One of the most important- is in reference to an agreement between the Minister of Public Works and Power Boards in regard to supply from the- Government. A remit from the Manawntu and Oroun Board asks that the conference discuss clauses in the agreement between the Minister and Boards taking power from Mangahao. Tt is stated that the Government entered into an .agreement to supply power to a large firm. There may be some opposition to the Government supplying large commercial' or business undertakings with power at the same rates as it is being supplied to power boards.
