NATIONAL PARK HOSTEL.
Jaunted whare site chosen. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The National Park Board has decided on. what ijj known as the “haunted whare” site for the hostel. There was keen division of opinion, mountaineers desiring a site nearer the mountain, while the other point of view was that the hostel would /be used more by people merely desiring moon tain air, Ultimately there were ten to four in favor of the* cite chosen, which is on a good road 71, miles from the railway, with an ample water- supply, and plenty of room for sports grounds. It commands a fine view of all the mountains.
