COUNTRY SCHOOLS.
The second annual meeting of the Walk oh u School Committee was held last night. The/ following were elected to the Committee. Messrs A. J. Galley, W. J. Williams, C. R. Will. H. E. Willson, and P. Lister. Mr. H. E, Willson was unanimously re-elected as chairman for the ensuing year. Owing to the fact that there are only two householders who have children attending the Hangaroa school, a committee is not necessary, and Mr. T. J. Hams lias been appointed Commissioner in charge of the affairs of the school, t No olio attended at the mooting called to elect a committee for the Tahunga school. Mr. A. 0. Steele, who han acted as Commissioner for the school up to the present, will therefore continue to act in that capacity, it being evident that the household,sra* are quite satisfied with 1 ; this arrangement. > y At the meeting held at Tiniroto. t Messrs Moore, Walker, Cooper, Johnson, MUfdHyde wore elected to the committee. Subsequently Mr. Hyde was appointed chairman.
