SUN YAT SEN.
BRITISH LABOR'S HELP. WANT OF MONEY. LONDON, Doc. 21.—Sun Yat . Sen boleivcs that he possesses influence with, the British Labor party as well as the Bolsheviks, says the I'ckin correspondent; of The Times. According to advices from Canton, ho intends to use these influences to tho uttermost, because he is in tho greatest si rails regarding funds. Tho military pressure Ims temporarily relaxed, but, his position is insecure. His mercenaries will certainly desert unless they arc paid. Many have already done so, resenting his tyranny and extortion, says the correspondent. A large proportion of the inhabitants of Canton cany arms owing to the' condition of insecurity, and sometimes use them, regardless of the safety of others.
It is significant that the foreign naval demonstration, which would ordinarily provoke public fury, is not resented. Everybody, except Sim Yat Sen's extremists, are aching to got rid of him, asserts the correspondent. Sun Yat Sen continues to threaten. Ho says that it' the, Clinton Customs cannot bo seized ho will seize the revenues of! the Kwang-tvmg and Kwnng-si provinces.
