Immediately after Davies attempted to drop-kick a goal. The ball liit a French player and bounced back into Davies’ hands. lie made a second attempt, and was this time,successful. . Davies interrupted his honoymoop in order to play in this match, thus brilliantly’ concluding his Rugby career. The defence of Lowe aiul Davies won the match.
