Old frozen beef: New Zealand fores 3d, hinds 4j-d; Australian crops 3d, hinds 4]d ; chilled Argentine fores Sjjd, hinds sfd ; Uruguay fores 3-UL hinds 5d ; others unchanged.
Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd. have received the following cable from their London house; “Sheepskins, merino, have advanced 15 per cent.; crossbred, fine, have advanced 10 per cent. ; crossbred, coarse to medium, have advanced 5 per cent. ; strong competition, good clearance, large attendance buyers.’’
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited have received tlje following cablegram from their London house:—Tallow —We quote prebent spot values for the undermentioned descriptions: Fine mutton, £2 2s per civt; good beef, £2 0s 3d per ewl; mixed £1 15s pCr c.wt. For fine mutton the market is dull. Good demand for other descriptions. New Zealand frozen meat: No change in market.
