GISBORNE SEAT.

MR,. W. D. LYSNAR- TO STAND

AGAIN

In response to an inquiry made today, Mr. D. W. Lysnar, M.P., declared that lie intended, at the next general election, to re-contest the Gisborne seat against all-comers. “I understand,” Mr. Lysnar remarked to our representative, “that a rumor has been circulated to the effect that I do not intend to offer myself again for reelection. I have never intimated to anyone an intention to let the matter go' by default, and my present intention is to stand. Whatever opponents may enter the field against me, I bopo will come with clean bands and justifiable data, as, so far as I can learn, several statements have been circulated against me that are neither correct nor justifiable.”
