VANCOUVER AVIATOR KILLED.
VANCOUVER, August' 19,— Captain Hibbert Brenton, son of the late Rev. C. J. Brenton and Mrs. Brenton. 1562 Balf our % Avenue. Shauerhnessy He'srhts. met death at English Bay at 7 o'clock last evening, when he fell, or jumped, out of a seaplane owned by the Aircraft Manufacturers, Lttl., from a height cf 2000 ft. Tugs, launches and rowboats were quickly on the scene, but there was no sign of xne aviator, and the machine, ■ . wliich was floating .upside dqw.ri, was taken m tow by the tug Vancouver and transferred to the hangai*.
