The High Commissioners clearly and firmly voiced the Dominions' objections to clause five of the Finance Bill, and Avere satisfied Avith their reception. Mr Lloyd George's replies fully encouraged, the hope that the. desires of the overseas people Avill be' recognised. The matter Avill be further discussed to-morrow.
