BRITISH COMPANIES' FUSION.
LONDON, March 28. The fusion of the two principal British companies engaged m the importation of meat. Messrs James Nelson and Sons and the River Plate Fresh Meat Co., represents a re-awakening of British interests m the Argentine trade, ■and a determination to fight the American-controlled companies.
