The Premier stated -m tho Assembly that negotiations were again proceeding to 'obtain the co-operation of the Commonwealth m building a dry dock at a cost of £500,000 at Port Phillip. Applications have been invited by the Imperial Government for the position of Chief Quarantine Officer, at a salary of £600. .
