1 (Per Preas Association.) TAURANGA, thi s day. Tlie Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, continued his country tour yesterday, when lie travelled from Rotorua; to. Tauranga by motor car, visiting Te Puke en route. At IV Puke he wag entertained at luncheon , in: tlie local public hall, and delivered a shorti address. He also received a number of deputations regarding local needs, and promised consideration to. the requests preferred. After luncheon the ; Prime Minister went on to- Taurangaj and was welcomed at a public reception in the local hall. Subsequently he received several deputations regardirig local requirements, ■'; which nicliided ai request' ■ -.that, th© claims of Taui-ahga; sliould b« favorably considered when the Government proposed to build more country lines. ' .. In the evening, the Prime Minister addressed a crowded meeting m the Ta.uranga.hall, and delivered a.;' political speech, , in .wMch he reviewetl the work of the past '.session.'
