LAND SALE.

"*■ MESSRS WILLIAMS AND KETTLE'S ENTRY. The annual land sale inaugurated by the above firm will be held to-morrow at the old Lowe street mart, commencing at 11 p.m. On referring to the firm s advertisement on the last page it will be seen that there are some very choice properties catalogued for this sale. Sections m good positions can be had m almost any locality, including nice building sites m the subdivision of Mr Henson's Mangapapa property, as well as two very fine sections totalling three acres of Mr Wilfrid Perry's adjoining the Mangapapa school. Then there are some choice quarter and half acres m the Ilminster block on the Kaiti side, as well as a few remaining sections m Dickson's estate od th<* Irinui road. There are also some fine building sites available m the Elgin township, and there will be offered a nice little section of 32 perches m Aberdeen road. In the heart of the town there will be submitted section 92, Gladstone road, with buildings thereon, subject to a lease, also 65 Peel street, and 206 Palmerston road, both with dwellings thereon. There is also part section 110 Grey street with a cottage. Several sections m the No. 5 Karaka block are also on the list, and the goodwill of a lease m Scott's estate will be submitted at this sale. The terms m every case are very easy. The Elgin township has a nice retired situation on the banks of the Taruheru river, and the terms on which these building sites are offered place them withing the reach of everyone. All the sections are high and dry and command a splendid view. The Whataupoko 'bus passes the estate, wfcSch is only about three minutes walk from the Mangapapa school. The balance of the Kirktown sections are now being offered should sell readily, as the first lot offered to the public commanded spirited bidding and the situation is very popular for building sites. Mr Redstone's valuable business site is certain to exoitp keen compewtion, as we understand it is likely that some outside firms will bid against local investors. . . ;
