Wellington, to-day. At the annual meeting of the Wellington Agricultural and Pastoral Association today, Mr W. E. Bidwell, the President, who was in the chair, in moving the adoption of the report and balance- sheet, declared that the success of the Association was thoroughly established, and referred to the high class exhibits at the November show. The liabilities outstanding were £544, against which unpaid subscriptions and donations amounted to £131, leaving a debit balance of £413, but it was pointed out that the expenses in putting the new ground in order, viz., £744, would not occur again. Special donations last year amounted to £465, against £383 the previous year. The gate money showed an advance of £G0 over 1891. Referring to New Zealand being declared free of scab, and the fact that Australian ports were being opened to stock from New Zealand, he urged farmers to maintain the high standard of stud stock for which the colon y was renowned. Mr W. A. Fitzherbert was elected President for the ensuing year, Mr Bid well declining to stand,
