A Law Clerk's Forgeries.
London, Dec. 6. — A lawyer's clerk in Edinburgh named Alexander Smith has been arrested on a charge of forging a large number of letters alleged to be .by Burns, Macaulay, and Scott. Some had been sold at enormous prices.
