Referring to tho New Zealand Exhibition, the Argus, in an article this morning, states it is justified in regarding the history of the DiiiH'din Exhibition as the history of a marvellous revival of the trade and industry of New Zealand. It goes on to say that the colony has solved a great colonial problem by the simple discovery that there is no royal path to permanent prosperity, but the road must be cut out by labor and skill. For this reason the Argus adds the greater and more sincere should Vie the congratulations of Australia. In conclusion it hopes that the Exhibition will be a success, and tvill lead to permanent prosperity.
Earl Hopetoun, the new Governor, arrived here to-day, and met with the mast brilliant reception ever extended to a vice-royal parcy in Victoria.
