Loan and Mercantile Company offered (>,426 bales, of winch 5,000 were sold. There was a large attendance and "competition was animated, later rates being fully maintained. No further advice lias been received of the rise recently reported from London, which is already fully discounted. The highest prices obtained were : Greasy merino Is lAd, greasy lambs Is lkl, greasy pieces "is, greasy crossbreds Is l\d, scoured crossbreds Is Sid, pieces Is 7.! d. London, Nov. 27. At tho wool sales the opening prices were fully maintained, tnd in some instances exceeded. There was an existing competition, foreign buyers taking the bulk of the new clips.
