FOUNDERING OF A NEW ZEALAND BOUND SHIP.
News is to hand that the ship St. Leonards, bound for New Zealand, witli emigrants, lias founded in the Channel after collision with another vessel. All tho piiaseugers and crew of the St. Leonards have been landed at Dartmouth. O'Dounell, who is charged with the murder of James Carey, the Irish informer, has arrived at Plymouth from the Cape, and will shortly be placed on his trial. PARIS. September 15. Monsieur Challemel Lacour, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has received his conge, and will be replaced in that position by M. Perry, President of 'the Council of Ministors. The removal of Lauour is deemed to indicate a peace p<»Uoy.
