Nothing further has transpired regardiug the negotiations which are still proceeding for the settlement of the FrancoChinese difficulty in Tonquin. After their interview with Earl Granvillo, the Marquis Tseng and M. Waddingtou left Walmer Castle for Paris, for the purpose, it is believed, of carrying on negotiations on the basis suggested by the British Minister for Foreign Affairs. The cargo of frozen meat on board the steamship Cuzco, from Sydney, arrived iv good condition. The cargo of mutton by the ship Opawa, from the Bluff, arrived in good condition, but the quality of meat is inferior to tho previous shipment. The first portion of the cargo was sold to-day .at 6|d to fr/d per pound.
