NOTICE OF MOTION.
By Councillor Locke — That payments of amounts certified as being correct, may be passed by a committee consisting of any three Councillors, the regular times of meeting. By Councillor Locke— That the Council take steps to cause the appointment of a competent Scab Inspector. By Councillor Villers— That Clause 3, of Bye-law No. 4, uhall be amended. . The Council, after transacting a large amount of business, and discussing several important measures, adjourned till the Ordinary Meeting on Friday the 4th instant, at 7.30 p.m.
